Mike Mitchell to Direct "Kung Fu Panda 4" and Stephanie Ma Stein to Co-Direct

At CinemaCon on Wednesday, DreamWorks Animation announced that Mike Mitchell ("The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part," "Trolls," "Shrek Forever After") will direct and Stephanie Ma Stein ("She-Ra and the Princesses of Power" and "How to Train Your Dragon" story artist) will co-direct: The new film, scheduled for theatrical release on March 8, 2024, will be the first theatrical KFP film in eight years and follows Netflix's recent animated series "Kung Fu Panda It appears to be: a continuation of Dragon Knight.
