GKIDS acquires U.S. rights to Hayao Miyazaki's "The Boy and the Hare

GKIDS has acquired North American distribution rights to Hayao Miyazaki's latest animated feature, "The Boy and the Hare."

"The Boy and the Hare," produced by Studio Ghibli, opened in Japanese theaters on Friday. A specific release date in the U.S. has not yet been announced, but according to GKIDS, the film will be released in theaters later this year.
