Producer of "Moana" Osnat Shuler Named Co-Chief Creative Officer of Baobab Studios
Baobab Studios, a nine-time Emmy Award winner, has announced that veteran Disney and Pixar producer Osnat Schuler will join the company as co-chief creative officer.
Schuller will lead the company's creative team along with current Chief Creative Officer and filmmaker Eric Darnell, best known for directing several films in the "Madagascar" series. Schuller has more than 30 years of industry experience, which he is expected to apply to guiding Baobab's original IP pipeline. This pipeline includes the multi-platform property Momo Kuro and future Disney+ titles such as Intercats and Witchverse.
Of her new role, Schuller said:
Throughout my career, I have been at the forefront of shaping stories with fresh, nuanced, powerful female protagonists. You can imagine why I was immediately drawn to Baobab, this amazing group of mavericks, and the opportunity to explore the cutting edge of technology and gaming to tell a great story.
Schuler previously served as vice president of development at Walt Disney Feature Animation and was executive producer of Pixar's short film group. At Disney, he produced "Raya and the Last Dragon" and "Moana". At Pixar, he was a producer and executive producer of Lifted, One Man Band, and Boundin'.

Darnell added:

Schuler joins Baobab's creative team, which includes Darnell and Chief Content Officer Kane Lee ("Onigami Raijin Den").
