Before we pitched, they warned us "there's absolutely no way to run a Beyond movie," but they loved our enthusiasm. We pitched the outline of the whole movie, and what started as "never" turned into "maybe."

Demar says that in the months since their first meeting, he and Harpin, along with Peter Saffron, have thrown their way up the ranks of Warner decision makers in the hope of presenting their ideas to James Gunn, who took over as head of DC's film, television and animation efforts. It will be.
