Craig McCracken Discusses Making the Netflix Series "Kid Cosmic"
Netflix's 2021 original animation slot is in full swing with the launch of "Kid Cosmic". The series, which premieres today, will once again feature Craig McCracken, creator of "Powerpuff Girls" and "Wanda and the Colossus." To celebrate, INBTWN Animation, a new animation event platform and partner of Cartoon Brew, is offering a special "old-fashioned" look at how Kid Cosmic is similar to and different from his past work, and why it's "old-fashioned. We spoke with McCracken about why it is "the work of Mr. Rogers and Jim Henson.
The show tells the story of a boy with a dream of gaining superpowers, which comes true when he discovers five magical "cosmic stones."
